No previous experience is needed — just bring yourself and a little curiosity.
All materials are provided, and you'll leave with something you've created yourself, along with the skills and confidence to continue practising at home.

I occasionally host small-group workshops in collaboration with independent cafés, creative spaces, bookshops, gardens and other beautiful local venues.
These workshops are limited to small groups so that everyone receives plenty of individual guidance.
Expect a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and plenty of time to slow down and create.

I'll guide you through the foundations of modern calligraphy step by step — from holding your pen and creating basic strokes to forming letters, connecting them into words and developing your own style.
There is no pressure to create "perfect" lettering.
The focus is on learning, experimenting and enjoying the process.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have created your own piece to take home and the confidence to keep practising.
